About these terms
These terms and conditions apply to everyone who uses jaloustudio.com (the “site”), run by Jalou Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site, playing a game or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
You can reach us through our contact form or by email at [email protected].
Who can use Jalou Studio
The site is only for people who are 18 or over and who live in the United Kingdom. We ask every visitor to confirm their age before entering, and every account holder to confirm their age and country when signing up. If we believe an account belongs to someone under 18 or outside the UK, we will close it.
Free play only
Jalou Studio is a free-to-play social casino. Please read this section carefully:
- All games are played with virtual coins that are given away free.
- There is nothing to buy on the site. We never ask for card or bank details.
- Coins have no monetary value. They can't be withdrawn, cashed out, sold, transferred, exchanged or used outside the site.
- There are no prizes of money or of any real-world value.
- Results in our games don't predict results in real-money gambling.
Our games
All 31 games on the site are designed, built and owned by Jalou Studio and are served from our own servers. Every game can be played without an account. We may add, change, pause or remove games at any time, for example to fix a fault or improve a feature.
Game outcomes are produced by the game software. If a fault affects a game, we may reset the affected game round or coin balance.
Your account
An account is optional. If you create one:
- Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Usernames must not be offensive, misleading or impersonate anyone.
- You can sign in with email and password or with Google.
- You can delete your account at any time from My account. Deleting it removes your coins, XP and level permanently.
For security, sign-in is paused for 15 minutes after five wrong passwords in a row.
Coins, bonuses and levels
New accounts receive free starting coins, and signed-in players can collect a free daily bonus once every 24 hours. Players earn experience points (XP) and levels by playing. Coins, bonuses, XP and levels are features of the game only. We may change amounts, reset balances after a fault, or remove coins gained through misuse.
Fair use
When using the site, you agree not to:
- use bots, scripts or automated tools to play, collect bonuses or create accounts;
- try to access other players' accounts, our server files or any part of the site that isn't meant for you;
- interfere with the site's security or performance, or copy our games;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Our content
The games, artwork, text, logos and code on the site belong to Jalou Studio. You may play and enjoy them for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, sell or reuse them without our written permission.
Playing responsibly
We want play to stay fun. You can ask for a break or an account restriction at any time through our responsible play page. If you're worried about gambling, free and confidential help is available from GamCare on 0808 8020 133.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep the site running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. The site is provided free of charge and “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under the laws of England and Wales, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is important, we'll show a notice on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
